Experimental Music & Sound Art Creative Program
Duration: Summer (4 weeks, 24 hours divided into several sessions of workshops and events)

Residency Location: Soundarte.net Studio & Studio 62.
Objectives:
- Foster artistic growth internationally in experimental music, sound art, and noise music among youth.
- Provide hands-on experience in event organization and curation.
- Produce a sound art EP showcasing the resident’s creativity and learning.
- Prepare the resident for a headliner performance at one of our events.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Preferred Age: 18 to 29 years old*.
- Demonstrated interest in sound art, noise music, or related fields.
- No prior professional experience is required, but a passion for music and creativity is essential.
- Residency in the Omaha Metropolitan area.
Program Structure:
- Orientation and Training.
- Active Participation in:
- 2 Workshops and 2 sound sessions with established artists in the field.
- Digital synthesizer workshop (July)
- Deep listening (August)
- EP Production:
- Sessions dedicated to the creation and recording of a sound art EP.
- Access to studio space and technical support for recording.
- Final Showcase:
- Organization of a culminating event where the resident will headline.
- Presentation of the resident’s EP and live performances.
